ORA is an architecture and interior design firm located in downtown Los Angeles’ Arts District. We’re looking for an energetic Part-Time Office Administrator to help us keep our studio operating smoothly and efficiently.
This is a part-time (24-hours per week), in-person position. We can accommodate flex days/schedules based on your needs. We offer a competitive salary that’s commensurate with skills and experience, and the ability for the position to grow into a full-time role. Our part-time employee benefits package includes paid PTO, Holidays, 401K, and an annual education stipend.
This role is at the center of the studio's activities, acting as an ambassador for the firm, and as a liaison between the design team, consultants, trade partners and community by providing day-to-day administrative and operational support to a team of designers. Responsibilities include supporting a wide variety of small design studio administrative support activities including, but not limited to; human resources, facilities, operations, IT, finance, marketing & business development.
This position is a good fit for someone with a friendly & positive demeanor, who is highly responsible and detail-oriented, and who can calmly and efficiently organize and manage different personalities and a range of day-to-day activities. The role can adapt to suit the skillset and interests of the right applicant, and can potentially become a full-time position.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree
· Experience in the creative or professional services industries
· Excellent computer skills in Google Workspace, Adobe Reader, MS Office and Monday
· Graphic design skills in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign or Canva are a plus
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations:
· Oversee studio, visitor and client hospitality
· Maintain an organized and orderly office
· Manage office calendar, studio events, and field trips
· Liaise with consultants and vendors
· Maintain computer hardware and manage software licenses
· Assist with business taxes, insurances, licenses and memberships renewals
· Support design staff with day-to-day requests
· Manage industry trade accounts
· Assist with employee on-boarding and off-boarding
Finance:
· Liaise with bookkeeper on monthly accounts receivable and payables
· Manage delivery of monthly employee timesheets and reimbursable expense reports
Marketing
• Assist with social media
• Manage digital marketing assets
• Assist with ongoing PR efforts – website updates, award submissions, press kits, media outlet requests etc.
• Assist with RFQ’s/RFP’s
