This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week on-site, either at the office or client location, depending on business needs.
Seeking Partner Cloud Solution Architects that have a passion for cloud concepts, and system integration, and cloud migrations that can support customer facing engagements with our partners along with several internal Oracle sales efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is tired of working on the same project or with the exact same technology for months or years without the possibility of future growth. Those who excel in this role are motivated self-starters who love to solve challenging problems, feel comfortable working directly with partners and customers, and have an insatiable curiosity about what “is possible” with cloud technology. The primary focus of a Cloud Solution Architect is to have hands-on skills in a core set of Oracle products and solutions and to present the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to our partners, prospects, customers, and internally to our sales force.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $134,500 to $232,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 70/30.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Responsibilities:
As a Partner Cloud Solution Architect (Engineer), you will be responsible for:
- Technical pre-sales support for Oracle Cloud partners and system integrators proposing Oracle Cloud solutions.
- Support partners posting cloud solutions to our Oracle Government Marketplace. Testing, demonstrating and troubleshooting solution deployments.
- Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concept implementations.
- Understanding, identifying, and documenting client requirements, conduct business and technical studies, design, develop, integrate, and implement information systems business solutions, and provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, security, and service delivery.
- Writing technical proposals for US federal government customers seeking Oracle Cloud services and task order solutions (sizing and architecture).
- Providing pre-sales technical and functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Acts as a technical resource, mentor, and leader for less experienced Cloud Solution Engineers.
- Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions.
- Design, validate, and present Oracle cloud architecture solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.
- Support sales team in online and in-person selling efforts with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
MUST possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance to work with the US Federal government
- Ability to travel as needed; approximately 25% of the time.
- BS degree or equivalent.
- Cloud Certifications are highly desirable.
- 10 years relevant computer applications or database/tools experience.
- Oracle product experience highly desirable.
- Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment.
- May have a project lead role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Desired Skillsets
- Knowledge and experience with any of public cloud providers including Oracle, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure or Google (GCP) architecture, tools, and cloud methodologies
- Solution Architect and/or Developer Certification on Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- Experience with government accreditations for Cloud such as FedRAMP, Impact Level, and ICD 503
