The Role
- We are looking for an entrepreneurial-style Application Sales Specialist for Oracle’s Supply Chain Management Sales team in Italy... someone with drive, who will:
- Contribute towards accelerating growth and exceeding customer expectations.
- With a focus on our complete SCM portfolio, execute the Oracle Applications strategy throughout the territory, driving customer success.
- Drive transformational deals, working with, and influencing C-level decision makers.
- Collaborate with successful, hard working and supportive functions enabling your success.
- Develop long-term sustainable relations with customers and partners.
- Working with a variety of customers, from charities and healthcare trusts to the large, multi-national strategic accounts.
- Our Sales roles are a combination of new business, expansion, renewals and account management.
What you will bring
- Experience selling high end Software as a Service solutions or consulting services to large enterprises.
- 3 years proven sales experience in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
- Deep understanding of the SCM processes, challenges, dynamics and trends, players involved, …
- You understand the decision-making process and have the ability to influence key decision makers.
- Experience using social media to drive contacts.
- Experience selling to senior level business owners (head of business unit) or IT Directors is a strong asset.
- Fluency in English and Italian is required

Responsibilities:
Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.
