We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Java Developer, you will contribute to the modification, development, testing, and deployment of Java web applications. You will work closely with senior developers to learn and grow your skills within a team responsible for the management and ingestion of Oracles product Manufacturing Data. The role will focus on the middle tier environment running within OCI cloud and at remote partner sites. This role offers a comprehensive experience in software development, encompassing design, development, deployment, and end-user training across diverse geographical regions.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $73,700 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy Java applications in a middle tier stack environment.
- Modify existing application stack to meet evolving requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, and well tested and documented code.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow team members to design and implement solutions.
- Learn and adapt to new emerging technologies to provide solutions to Oracle manufacturing business.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical support issues.
Technical Skills:
Java Proficiency:
- Strong foundation in core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience in writing web applications for deployment to middletier and/or spring boot environments.
- Exposure to java /database connectivity using JPA.
- Experience with Eclipse IDE or equivalent.
Data Formatting :
- Experience in parsing, processing, and generating JSON and XML data using Java.
Linux Environment:
- Competence in using a Unix environment, including shell scripting (bash, etc.) and command-line tools.
Version Control:
- Proficiency in using Git to control change.
Build Tools:
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
Web Application Development:
- Understanding of web application architecture
- RESTful APIs, and web frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
- Strong foundation in JavaScript. (jQuery desirable).
- Websockets desirable.
Database Skills:
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Testing:
- Understanding of unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG) and test-driven development principles.
