Seeking full time Legal Assistant/Paralegal for a growing boutique Estate Planning and Estate Administration law firm.
Position is ideal for highly motivated recent graduate looking to be mentored to gain first hand experience as a Legal Assistant with potential growth into Paralegal role.
The applicant should be dependable, detail oriented, very well organized, and able to work independently or in a team environment. Additionally, they should have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable interacting with clients over the phone as well as in meetings. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Interaction with clients and other professionals
- Scheduling for Attorneys and Billing Entry
- Preparation of letters and correspondence ranging from single letters to mass mailings
- Handling of documents (copying, scanning, creating and organizing new files)
- Assisting Paralegals and Attorneys with Estate and Trust Administration, Deed Preparation, and general filing
Your minimum qualifications should include a College Degree, experience working with Microsoft Office Suites, excellent speaking and phone skills, strong typing skills and familiarity with general office equipment and technology including phones, computers, etc. Candidate must be able to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
