Job Description
- Coordinate regularly with President or Executive Director
- Support onboarding process as developed by President and others
- Be knowledgeable with other committees using volunteers
- Communicate frequently with chairs of each committee regarding volunteer needs and issues.
- Communicate with volunteers when needed using tools like Zoom, WhatsApp, etc.
- Help train or find training needed for the volunteer’s tasks and assignments.
- Track the progress of volunteer service including projects, tasks, hours, worked.
- Develop and/or maintain volunteer contact information
- Help make sure volunteer has submitted waiver and proof of car insurance.
- Report to the President about harassment and other issues as they arise.
- Support requests for proof of volunteering by the volunteer or other agencies
- Help maintain digital files in the Volunteer Committee shared folder and other digital files that support the committee’s functions.
- Promote the success of the Volunteer program by reports to the Board (annually) and in social media and the OURF website
- Nominate volunteers for commendation for excellent work or sustained performance.
- Assist with offboarding when the volunteer wishes to move on.
