Qualifications:
Preferred criteria to be considered:
- Holds and maintains valid state department of education license/certificates as an Intervention Specialist (Grades K-12).
- Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and a willingness to take on challenging tasks.
- Embodies high ethical standards/integrity. Accepts responsibility for personal decisions/conduct.
- Exhibits effective time management and resourceful problem-solving skills.
- Maintains a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
- Meets mandated health screening requirements following a conditional offer of employment.
- Shows evidence of core computer competencies deemed essential at the time of hire.
Preferred criteria to be considered:
- Strong collaboration skills to develop and maintain effective staff and community relations
- Knowledge of Ohio’s Special Education guidelines, policies and procedures
- Experience with autism
- Experience with behavior management
- Knowledge of assistive technology
- Familiarity of sensory integration techniques
- Ability to utilize data for educational programming strong organizational skills
