What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Art Instructor - Orange Art Center position at Orange City Schools?
The Orange Art Center is hiring experienced, creative art instructors for our 2025 Summer Art Camp. This six-week program provides hands-on art experiences for children in grades K-8. Instructors will design and lead fun, age-appropriate lessons in a variety of media, encouraging creativity and artistic growth in a supportive environment. This is a great opportunity for art educators to share their passion in a welcoming setting with small class sizes, fully equipped studios, and a collaborative, supportive staff.
Qualifications
Experience teaching art to children, teens, or adults
Degree in Fine Arts, Arts Education, or a related field
Ability to create and implement lesson plans for students of varying skill levels
Ability to create a positive, well-managed classroom environment
Enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring creativity
Must pass a background check and fingerprinting
Program Details
Program runs June 9 through July 25, 2025
Camps run Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Full-day and half-day teaching opportunities available
Pay is $30 per hour
