Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist (No Certification Required)
Part-time Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist position available at cardiac electrophysiology office in Huntington Beach. Great opportunity for Pre-Med/Pre-Health graduates looking for clinical experience! We are looking for a Spanish speaking or Vietnamese speaking candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients, answer phone calls, and take messages
- Schedule appointments and patient follow-ups
- Prepare rooms for examination and ensure supplies are available and ready
- Schedule procedures and examinations
- Measuring and recording patient vitals and EKG
- Assisting with cardiac device interrogations
- Communicating with insurance companies regarding coverage questions
- Obtaining and handling medical records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- No medical assistant certification required
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Some prior medical experience preferred, but training will be provided
- Vietnamese or Spanish is a PLUS!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
