The Orange County Department of Education is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Coordinator, Educational Services - STEM. This professional will provide professional learning and trainings to School Districts in the STEM field.
Education and Experience:
- Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in education, education administration, behavior management or a related field.
- Five (5) years of increasingly responsible educational experience including two (2) years of administrative service in a public-school setting.
- Experience in Secondary Education strongly preferred.
Licenses, Certificates, and Special Requirements:
- A valid California credential authorizing instruction (Preferably in a STEM discipline) or service in a public-school program.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Certificated Management: Range 30, 210 days $521.94 - $635.95 monthly.
- 14 paid holidays annually.
- Generous health benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents. (annual value up to $47,578)
- Employee plus employer contributions into CalPERS or CalSTRS.
