The Orange County Department of Education is seeking a knowledgeable professional to serve as Project Manager, Model Curriculum. This position will provide specialized services in support of the Model Curriculum; provide training and coordinate conferences related to the Model Curriculum; develop budgets; coordinate the processing of payment for short-term employees and consultants; establish procedures for Model Curriculum editing, feedback, and revision; provide assistance to Model Curriculum writers and consultants; attend conferences and departmental meetings as necessary to develop information for enhancement and enrichment of staff.

Education and Experience:
- Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in education, History/Social Science, English, World Language, Ethnic Studies or other Humanities.
- Three years of responsible experience in program management.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $7,311.73 - $8,909.59 (210 days)
- 19 vacation days annually.
- 14 paid holidays annually.
- 12 paid sick days annually.
