Job Description
General Functions
Performs responsible technical work applying a detailed knowledge of system architectures, application software, programming, system design, and data processing fundamentals in a multi-vendor, multi-CPU client server environment.
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Enterprise IT Supervisor or their designee and is reviewed for compliance with division objectives and policies and for achievement of desired results.
Representative Duties/Assignments
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or a closely related field and two years of data processing experience, to include one year of project implementation experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant education or experience on a year for year basis.

Representative Duties/Assignments
- Responsible for reviewing technical architectures, application software and data processing procedures ensuring efficient and effective utilization of system resources.
- Prepares project management documents, charts and support materials such as time estimates, resource allocation, resource assignments, costs, and project implementation timelines.
- Originates and prepares test plans to quantify and prove the project or application meets specifications and will deliver the desired solutions and results.
- Prepares a complete logical design specification and graphic charting of total system architectures including the documentation for system input, output, databases, manual and mechanized functions, back up procedures and support requirements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Experience with the administration of internal/external DNS, specifically Infoblox
- Experience with the administration of the SolarWinds Network Management Software
- Experience with Cisco & Juniper Network hardware operating systems (OS ), and licensing portal
- Experience with management of Local and Wide-Area voice/data communications circuits
- Experience with Cisco’s collector and Juniper’s Junos inventory management software
