Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients on oral health, and maintaining a safe and sterile environment in accordance with industry standards.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide exceptional patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and training.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control procedures.
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Epic is preferred.
- Experience in pediatrics or prosthodontics is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures in an understandable manner.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
