Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the orthodontic clinical team, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.
- Oversee patient care processes, including treatment planning, medical documentation, and follow-up.
- Assist in performing orthodontic procedures while maintaining aseptic techniques.
- Ensure accurate use of dental terminology and medical terminology in all patient interactions and documentation.
- Collaborate with other dental professionals, including prosthodontists and pediatric dentists, to provide comprehensive care.
- Utilize advanced technologies such as 3D scanners for treatment planning and patient education.
- Train team members on the use of systems related to patient management and clinical workflows.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, advancements in orthodontics, and relevant regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an orthodontic setting with a strong understanding of orthodontic procedures.
- Proficiency in medical documentation practices and familiarity with dental terminology.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles is preferred; experience working with children is a plus.
- Ability to operate X-Ray equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a clinical team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Familiarity with 3D scanning technology is advantageous.
- Aseptic technique knowledge is required to ensure patient safety during procedures.
