About the Role - The Estimator will gather information, use blueprints, create proposals, and important documents to provide clear and transparent estimates. The estimator will build strong and interpersonal relationships with our staff and customers to successfully carry out projects. The estimator will analyze and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity by organization, project objectives, and guidelines.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required contents of estimates
Experience in commercial projects and industrial projects.
Attend pre-bid meetings and / or tour job sites
Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including information on pricing from suppliers obtained through direct contact, sales brochures, price lists, software uploads, etc.
Work together with customers and project managers to understand the project, scope of work, and timeline, while building strong relationships for continued excellent customer service.
Must be able to determine the amount, type, and cost of materials needed for each project.
Support other department personnel as required; may include assisting with estimates in other disciplines
Must be willing to train apprentice estimator and work well in a small team
May review design options and recommend the best solution based on cost, engineering quality, and / or availability of materials
Provide support to field operations regarding electrical projects
Perform additional assignments per Owner’s direction
Supervisory experience in the field directing a team

Requirements :
Familiarity with estimating softwares like Trimble MEP, Excel. Tradeservices
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Electrical field
Minimum of 3 years as an Electrical Estimator
Working knowledge of electrical installation, estimating techniques, and cost control
Ability to interpret computerized cost data and systems
Ability to perform detailed work and successfully meet deadlines
Previous management or supervisory experience
Commercial and Industrial experience is necessary.
