Position Summary
The Orange EV Sales Support Manager will help build on current structure, processes, and best practices to support and improve sales effectiveness and efficiency. This will involve leadership of the Sales Support Team, structured communication, sales material development/improvement, tracking and reporting, inbound lead handling, training coordination, CRM engagement, meeting management for internal sales team updates, and support for customer HQ visits
**Role will be based full-time in our Kansas City, KS office (not a remote or hybrid role)
Position Responsibilities
- Lead and develop sales support team members with effective training, support, and guidance
- Support the field sales team with process improvement, measurement, tracking, and analytics
- Partner with sales and marketing to create and refine selling materials – across print, digital, and email
- Identify and implement increased HQ support for field sales to bring administrative tasks in-house while freeing field sales to spend more time with current and prospective customers
- Deliver a high degree of customer satisfaction for the communication and materials that are shared with customers throughout the order, build, delivery, training, and on-going support stages
- Monitor, track, analyze, and report on the sales funnel and key initiatives
- Coordinate and play a lead role in weekly sales team meetings agenda and content, including the distribution of updated information and materials.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications
**We are seeking a highly motivated business professional with qualifications that include:
- 5 years of sales operations and/or sales experience
- 3 years of formal people leadership experience
- Minimum 4-year undergraduate degree
- Excellent team and project management skills, very organized, and with a keen sense for attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must excel and thrive in a fast-paced environment to quickly capitalize on opportunities
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects within scheduled timelines
- Team player who can lead, interact, and work effectively with various cross-functional partners
- An ideas leader - demonstrates strength in bringing better approaches to accomplish goals
- Well-developed capabilities in problem-solving and crafting/implementing efficient processes
- Passion and enthusiasm about the positive impact we can have as a company and as a team
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Ideal Candidates Will Also Have
- Experience with CRM tools, ideally Salesforce
