Job Description
The Sr. Distribution System Operator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of our electric distribution system, ensuring safe and reliable service to our customers. This includes managing field forces, supervising Service Operators, and coordinating with other departments to respond to emergencies and maintain system reliability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement emergency response plans to minimize customer outages and ensure safe conditions.
- Supervise and train Service Operators to perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the System Operator to operate substation distribution equipment and manage power flow.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
