Health and Safety Program Coordinator Role">
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Health and Safety Program Coordinator.
- The coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements and providing technical assistance with health and safety laws and regulations.
- Key responsibilities include developing and coordinating workshops and training to keep districts current with changes in laws and regulations, as well as conducting or supervising environmental investigations and inspections, including air, water, and soil samplings on both a scheduled and emergency basis.
- The coordinator will also perform or supervise inspections of school district buildings to assess compliance with applicable NYSED Commissioner's regulations and NYS Fire and Building Codes and the risks of occupational exposure to asbestos, lead, PCBs, mold, radon, and other environmental hazards.
