What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Tax Specialist position at Orbis, Inc.?
In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the administrative processing of property taxes for our clients. The Property Tax Specialist will play an integral role in Orbis’ Administrative Services department. From validating property tax bills to generation of check requests to the client’s accounting department, the Property Tax Specialist will be responsible for managing and administering all aspects of the Property Tax services offered by Orbis.
Duties include but are not limited to :
- Organize, process, and reconcile property tax notices and assessments from various assessing jurisdictions accurately and timely
- Review and monitor tax bill entries
- Independently research, follow-up and resolve questions regarding tax notices and payments
- Maintain client property tax records
- Research tax program incentives for clients
- Generate various reports and analysis for clients
- Responding to client support requests
- Generating account payable requests for clients
- Interacting with various municipalities to ensure payment and resolve issues as necessary
