Job Description
SENIOR DIGITAL MEDIA SPECIALIST
At Orchard, a Senior Digital Media Specialist plays a pivotal role in our agency, contributing to the success of our clients' campaigns through comprehensive support and active involvement in various digital marketing initiatives. A Senior Specialist will collaborate closely with our media team, as well as our account team, assisting in the development, execution, and management of diverse digital marketing campaigns across search, display/programmatic, social media, and email channels. Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of responsibilities, requiring a fundamental understanding of the digital marketing landscape and a proactive approach to staying on top of industry trends and innovations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Campaign Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand business objectives to help develop comprehensive strategies that align to client goals leveraging various channels.
· Campaign Setup and Activation: Support the media team in setting up and activating digital marketing campaigns, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to client objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
· Ongoing Campaign Management and Optimization: Take an active role in the continuous management and optimization of campaigns across various platforms (Ex: Google, Meta, Programmatic), leveraging performance data and insights to refine strategies and maximize ROI.
· Data Analysis and Insights Utilization: Utilize data and insights to identify high-performing content, audience segments, and campaign ideas, contributing to scalability and informing monthly reporting to clients.
· Keyword Research and Copywriting: Assist in copywriting tasks and keyword research, in relation to paid search, optimizing campaign content for maximum effectiveness and audience engagement.
· Support for Channel Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): Collaborate with channel SMEs to support their initiatives and contribute to the overall success of integrated digital marketing strategies.
· Campaign Organization: Keep campaign trackers updated with accurate campaign information and optimization details, ensuring clear visibility and accountability across all stakeholders.
· Stay Informed on Industry Updates and Trends: Proactively monitor and stay up to date with developments and trends across all paid media platforms, incorporating relevant insights into campaign strategies and recommendations.
· Agency Best Practices and Process: Support the creation and definition of process documentation and platform POVs to support internal growth and client education.
REQUIREMENTS
· 3-4 years of experience in paid media - Google Ads preferred, Programmatic and Social are a plus.
· Intermediate knowledge of the digital marketing ecosystem and multi-channel digital marketing strategy.
· Interest in continuous learning about digital strategy, channels, and emerging trends within the industry.
· Strong research skills.
· Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
· Basic MS Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (alternatively, Google Sheets, Slides, and Docs).
· Previous experience or coursework in digital marketing, advertising, or related fields is preferred.
· Interest in agency setting; agency experience is a plus.
