Building Maintenance Manager

The Building Maintenance Manager is key part of creating a welcoming and safe environment for anyone to effectively meet Jesus for the first time or take steps in their journey to know Him fully. We believe our mission is accomplished best in a team culture where everyone involved cares about and supports each other through good times and hard life events.
The specifics of this position include but are not limited to:
- Participate fully as a trusted member of the Orchard Hill Staff Team.
- Oversight of our Cedar Falls facility to maintain equipment and vehicles in good working order.
- Hiring, training, supervising and working alongside our team of custodians to ensure that our facilities are clean and well cared for, both inside and outside.
- Set up and tear down of ministry spaces for use by staff, members, community groups and partners.
- Partner with IT, the Business Manager and Leadership to provide appropriate security to our buildings.
- Work closely with our Administrative Team with the scheduling and approval of reservation events.
- Provide a friendly and engaging presence for visitors and church members who are encountered on a day-to-day basis.
- · Work directly with our Business Manager on project planning and capital improvements to maintain facilities on the Cedar Falls campus.
- Be involved personally in the ministry of Orchard Hill Church as a regular attendee.
