What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician position at Orchard Hospital?
Orchard Hospital is looking for a Primary Care Physician for our clinic located in Gridley, California. Physician will provide comprehensive care in an outpatient family medicine clinical setting. Physician will be expected to evaluate, chart, and monitor patients with complex medical conditions. Diligent work ethic, attention to detail, compassionate bed-side manner, ability to work well, communicate, and collaborate with others, and coach ability are prerequisites for this position. Physician will see walk-in and pre-scheduled patients.
Pay: $200,000-$300,000
Qualifications:
- Unrestricted California State Medical License
- Current California DEA certificate
- Current Malpractice Insurance
- Minimum 1 year of experience Family Practice.
- Acceptance into the Orchard Hospital Medical Staff
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Board Eligible or Board Certified Required
- Experience supervising mid-level practitioners a plus
Job Requirements:
- Examinations, evaluations, assessments; diagnose and treat illness and chronic medical conditions.
- Participates in Orchard Hospital activities such as health fairs, classes and community events, as required.
- Triage patients to determine level of care and refers to in house Specialists.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records and enters progress notes, referrals, and orders, in a timely manner, according to requirements.
- Work collaboratively with Physicians and Specialists, nursing and support staff to provide quality patient care, as well as educate patient and patient’s families.
- Ensures patient satisfaction and also develops plans to improve patient satisfaction.
- Available to supervise and coach up to four mid-level providers (FNP's and PA's)
Salary : $200,000 - $300,000
