You will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean bar area, and providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or busy shifts.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food service and alcohol consumption.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and cocktail recipes.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be of legal drinking age in accordance with local laws and regulations.
