Administrative Assistant (1-month temporary assignment initially)
Interim or Active Secret clearance is required
Arlington, Virginia (5 days a week on-site at the Pentagon)
Orchard has been asked to provide a short-term contract resource to cover a leave of absence expected to last 1 month for an engagement with the Department of the US Navy located at the Pentagon. The initial assessment could lead to longer-term opportunities, but that cannot be guaranteed.
About the role.
- Support a wide range of administrative and clerical functions in support of executive and divisional level activities in a demanding environment to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Perform and provide clerical, analysis, and administrative functions, including drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, and providing information to callers. Coordination with appropriate stakeholders is required (within OASN (FM&C), Echelon I, II, and II Commands, other Secretariats, etc.)
- Administrative support must be available for OASN (FM&C) at various locations in the National Capitol Region (i.e., Pentagon, Navy Yard, etc.) The level of support shall be commensurate with understanding and performing in a headquarters (echelon l level) front office.
- Administrative Support shall also include program analysis and strategic communications in support of FM&C strategic objectives.
- Travel Support through DTS, heavy on Calendar Management for SES levels, Tasker Management, Recall Roster Management, and Document and File management.
- Correspondence throughout the entire life cycle, Visit Requests, Tracking and reporting all training, Day Books, and Organizational Charts.
