Human Capital & Workforce Planning Analyst Hybrid – 2 days per week at Fort Belvoir, Virginia
Active Secret clearance required
Must be a US Citizen @Orchard LLC has been retained by a growing Federal contractor with a great culture to identify an experienced Analyst with expertise in Human Capital and Workforce Planning to support a complex Workforce Development program within the Department of Defense, specifically, the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). The role will require the Analyst to work on-site at Fort Belvoir in Virginia on average, two days a week, with the rest of the time working remotely. The team is responsible for requirements gathering and will provide recommendations, documentation, and supporting tools to help DTRA implement human capital / workforce shaping initiatives across the following focus areas :
Leadership and Learning Programs
Hiring & Onboarding
Talent Development Program / Retention
Functional Communities / Occupational Training
Leadership Training and Development
Training Needs Assessment
Succession Planning
Strategic Planning, reporting and analysis
Outreach
As the Human Capital & Workforce Planning Analyst, you will.
- Research and analyze core HR and workforce development business processes to identify gaps and recommend improvement areas for the organization's performance and efficiency.
- Oversee change management and the collection of requirements for project initiatives, utilizing knowledge and understanding of process mapping, data collection, data analysis, procedure writing, and documentation.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans and revise the plans to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Provide process engineering technical support expertise to activities and projects to improve operations within the organization.
- Analyze processes, reengineer alternatives, and understand technical problems and solutions related to the current and future business environment.
- Create process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted stakeholders, users, and process owners.
- Use analysis to develop recommended business and operational improvements, increasing effectiveness and gaining efficiency.
- Develops current and future workforce analysis
- Identify workforce trends and opportunities for improvement
- Develop workforce strategies to close gaps
- Develop, Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) Implementation documents
- Develop and facilitate the implementation of solutions to complex problems.
