Qualifications & Skills - Powder Coating Technician
- Experience is preferred but not required. We're willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
- Experience in the use of paint spray equipment and/or powder spray equipment is a plus.
- Quality Control knowledge with experience inspecting, testing, and evaluating powder and liquid coatings.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and the ability to use various safe chemicals and cleaning products effectively.
- Previous manufacturing, finishing, general labor, automotive painting, or construction experience is preferred.
Responsibilities & Duties - Powder Coating Technician
- Perform wash bay, powder coating, sandblasting, and patina application duties.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
- Ensure the quality meets or exceeds the company’s standards.
- Physical labor is a requirement of this position. Ability to work on feet all day and lift up to 75 pounds four feet in height.
- Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization.
- Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position.
Pay & Schedule
- Swing Shift: Mon-Thur from 4:30 pm-3:00 am.
- Hours may vary slightly depending on business needs and demands. Occasional Friday shifts, which will be overtime.
- Base Pay of $18-$22 per hour (DOE) $2.00 per hour shift differential.
