Salary: $99,265 annually, and the role is eligible for variable compensation.
This role is primary works in Pierce County Washington and applicants must be available to work and visit auto dealerships in this location on a regular basis. While most of the duties required may be done Monday through Friday, some weekend work may be required. Work is accomplished remotely, and primarily from a home office, and at auto dealerships. From time to time, individuals in this role may be required to come onsite to OCCU's headquarters.
An Indirect Lending Business Development Officer (BDO) regularly engages with auto dealerships to marketing, promoting and obtaining dealership commitment and engagement to utilize OCCUs Indirect Lending Program services. The BDO can accomplish Indirect Lending objectives by seeking new dealership relationships, increasing dealer penetration, hosting partnership events, providing training and education, enforcing contractual non-compliance and continuously improving dealer relationships. The BDO contributes to the planning and execution of OCCU business objectives by providing consultative, expert advice and market analysis to management.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of eight years of in-dealership leadership experience.
- A minimum of three years in an Indirect Lending role with a financial institution is preferred.
- Advanced level knowledge of dealership variable operations and the automotive industry related to lending is required.
- A valid driver's license and clear driving record.
