Salary: $3,429 - $4,622 ($3,651 - $4,943 PERS Rate)
We are currently hiring an Office Specialist 2 at our Oregon School for the Deaf. This is a permanent full-time position represented by the
Service Employees International Union
(SEIU).What you will do!
The primary purpose of this position is to provide secretarial support services for the OSD Principal and the Educational Support Services Department.

- IEP Coordination and Documentation
- Student Records Management
- Administrative and Secretarial Support

What we are looking for:
- Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR an associate degree in any field; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- ASL certification at ASLPI Level 2. Staff obtaining certification at Level 2 are eligible for a five percent (5%) bilingual differential.
Fingerprinting, Background Check, and Drug Screening:
- Applicants will be subject to a finger-print based criminal history check including driving record.
- Adverse background data may be grounds for immediate disqualification. Conviction of a crime will not automatically preclude an appointment. The circumstances involved in the conviction will be considered.
- Applicants will be subject to a Controlled Substance Test (drug screening), which must be successfully completed before the first day of employment.
