This is not just a seasonal role—you’ll play a critical part in planning and executing year-round projects that ensure the success of one of the region’s most beloved events.
What You’ll Do:
- Year-Round Planning: Collaborate with the Public Events Manager to develop set-up timelines, supply lists, and logistical strategies for the market and other projects.
- Event Logistics: Oversee the setup and teardown of the market’s iconic displays, ensuring everything is safe, secure, and stunning.
- Maintenance & Operations: Create and execute a proactive maintenance plan to keep stalls, decorations, and equipment in top condition year-round.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of maintenance staff, grounds crew, and temporary event staff to bring our vision to life.
- Procurement & Inventory: Ensure timely purchasing of tools and supplies to prevent delays, and manage inventory of materials throughout the year.
- Collaboration: Work with vendors, suppliers, and contractors on repairs, installations, and upgrades to the market’s infrastructure.
- Site Oversight: Monitor cleanliness, coordinate waste management, and address any logistical issues promptly.
