We are currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team. Please read all of this job announcement before applying for the position.
What you will do:
As a HRIS Records Assistant, you will be part of a team that is responsible for providing Human Resources support to the the HRIS Records team by processing a variety of job changes, including laterals, demotions, promotions, re-employment, direct appointment, compensation changes and PERS actions. As necessary, partner with OHA Workday Operations and DAS Workday to resolve business process issues.

What we are looking for:
  • Two years of human resources clerical-support experience directly assisting human resources professionals in the administrative functions of a human resources program; OR
  • Three years progressively responsible administrative, clerical or record-keeping support experience
  • College-level course work may substitute for the general experience requirement based on 45-quarter units per year.
  • The State Certified Human Resources Professional (SCHRP) certification, awarded by the Oregon Chief Human Resources Office, substitutes for six months of human resource professional-level experience.
    • The State Certified Human Resources Professional (SCHRP)certification will substitute for six months of human resource paraprofessional-level experience.
  • Knowledge of human resource laws, rules and regulations.
  • SHRM substitutes for one year of human resource professional-level experience.
  • Ability to work and lead effectively in a cross-cultural or multi-cultural organization ensuring equity and inclusion initiatives are implemented and measured across the organization.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization and carry responsibilities independently with an awareness of human resources services issues and sensitivities.
  • Consideration will be given to candidates with Workday experience.
Salary Range:
AA Rate: $4,399.00 to $5,887.00
