Position Summary :

Oregon Ice Cream seeks a Training Coordinator to develop and manage employee training programs across multiple departments, including safety, environmental, quality, and human resources. This role requires collaboration with department managers to assess needs, create training materials, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience with Alchemy software, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Training Development & Implementation :

Partner with department managers to identify training needs across safety, environmental, quality, and human resources.

  • Design, develop, and implement training programs for all employees, ensuring they align with company standards.
  • Create and maintain training schedules, ensuring all employees are trained on time.
  • SOPs & Procedures Writing :
  • Develop and write clear, detailed procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for training support across departments.

  • Maintain up-to-date training documentation and ensure consistency across all materials.
  • Alacrity with Alchemy Software :
  • Utilize Alchemy software to create training courses, track employee progress, and maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

  • Ensure proper documentation and certification for all training programs.
  • Collaboration & Communication :
  • Work closely with department managers to ensure training needs are met and relevant to department-specific processes.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for training-related inquiries.
  • Effectively communicate training goals, schedules, and requirements to all employees.
  • Compliance & Reporting :
  • Track training completion rates, certifications, and any gaps in employee knowledge.

  • Report on training progress, completion rates, and compliance metrics to management.
  • Stay current with industry standards and regulations to ensure training programs meet required safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Training Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or food production environments.
  • Proficient in using Alchemy software or similar learning management systems (LMS).
  • Knowledge of safety, environmental, and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear training materials and effectively communicate with teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple training projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with department managers to identify training gaps and develop solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality and accurate training content.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred) or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Work Environment :

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

  • This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds
