As our Education & Training Coordinator, you'll spearhead initiatives to create engaging, high impact learning experiences, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and strategies. You'll lead Umpqua Health University and develop structured certification programs, ensuring our workforce is skilled, confident, and prepared to excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Umpqua Health University, designing degree and certification programs for career advancement and regulatory compliance.
- Create dynamic e-learning modules using platforms like Rise360, Storyline, and Articulate, incorporating elements such as simulations, branching scenarios, and gamification.
- Design structured learning pathways and syllabi, blending instructor-led sessions, self-paced modules, workshops, and collaborative projects.
- Manage and optimize our Learning Management System (Absorb LMS), overseeing course deployment, accessibility, reporting, and analytics.
- Conduct leadership development workshops, train-the-trainer programs, and onboarding initiatives for managers, department leads, and new hires.
- Measure training effectiveness using data-driven insights, refining programs through learner feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align programs with organizational goals, compliance needs, and adult learning best practices.
- Integrate innovative technologies such as AI, virtual reality, and adaptive learning strategies to enhance training effectiveness.
- Develop microlearning content and just-in-time training resources to support on-the-job skill application.
- Partner with industry bodies and educational institutions to expand certification programs and provide employees with recognized credentials.
- Perform other duties as assigned to advance Umpqua Health's vision, mission, and values.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Education, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and e-learning in corporate or academic settings.
- Expertise with Rise360, Storyline, and Articulate, with a proven track record of creating compelling digital learning experiences.
- Deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM), and competency-based education.
- Experience in developing syllabi and structuring degree-based learning programs aligned with professional development goals.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (Absorb LMS preferred), including course administration and reporting.
- Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills for engaging learners in virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats.
- A data-driven mindset to track learner progress and optimize training strategies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects while maintaining quality and effectiveness.
Rate: Varies on experience, education, location $60,000-$70,000
