What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper/Maintenance position at Oregon Mountain Guides LLC?
Resort Maintenance and Landscape groundskeeper:
Live and work in the beautiful Umpqua National Forest!
Duties include:
Accommodations and RV Site daily check and clean (clean out fire pits, replace propane tanks as needed, micro trash and make sites ready for next guest.)
Lawn mowing and weed eating, flower beds and tree trimming as required.
Weeding and flower bed maintenance and new installations.
Watering the lawns in the summertime, repair and installation of sprinklers.
Fruit Tree care.
Resort maintenance - light carpentry and plumbing (repair railings or replace a deck board, sand and stain as required, spigot repair/replacement small PVC repairs (elk heard sometimes kicks over a spigot) Help other teams if problems arise.
Occasional driving up the river to shuttle raft vans. (Company Vehicle provided for shuttles)
Help supervisor with new projects.
Fill propane tanks as needed
Maintenance golf carts
Job requirements:
Must be able to move, bend lift up to 75 lbs
Operate equipment - zero turn mower, weed eaters, blowers, frontloader Kubota tractor, power tools
Have a great attitude and be mindful of the guest experience
Work with a team to ensure the guests always have a 5 star stay at the resort.
Keep the park grounds up to a high standard. We are a park like setting in the Umpqua National Forest and maintain a 5 star average.
Individual employee housing available for cheap for the right candidate. Candidates can als live offsite or bring their own RV to stay onsite.
Valid Drivers License.
