This position plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing the education department's strategic plan and ensuring top-tier educational offerings for members.
Duties
- Schedule and coordinate courses, webinars, and events, including managing the instructor pool and facilitating new course development.
- Implement and maintain a revenue-generating education model while ensuring high-quality educational experiences for members.
- Coordinate course development across departments to maintain brand consistency.
- Monitor instructor performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Collaborate on education events and marketing plans, assessing market opportunities for new courses.
- Compile and analyze quarterly department reports to track strategic plan metrics.
- Serve as a liaison to the Professional Development Committee, providing expertise and support in related initiatives.
- Oversee education budget, monitoring expenses, revenues, and accuracy.
- Recruit, develop, and maintain an instructor pool. Assist in implementing communications plans related to education.
- Assist in event logistics coordination and maintain accurate records for courses and events. Perform all education logistics, including Continuing Education certificate processing.
- Is the primary person to answer education-related questions from members and field member inquiries regarding course registration, payments, and education requirements.
- Maintain the Continuing Education Provider license with the Oregon Real Estate Agency, ensuring compliance regarding approved topics, instructor qualifications, and record keeping.
- Coordinate efforts with the local associations to enforce the Code of Ethics and Fair Housing training requirements for members.
- Collaborate with local associations for professional development opportunities.
- Plan NAR certifications and designations courses and be the staff liaison for the National Association’s affiliated councils and societies.
- Ensure instructors' invoices are processed for payment and local associations are billed when partnering for professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education (preferred), Business Administration, or related field - or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in database management and IT systems.
- Experience in educational program development and event coordination.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.45 - $28.85 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
