What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Courier position at Oregon State Credit Union?
As a Facilities Courier, you will be responsible for efficiently handling the delivery and distribution of internal and external mail, supplies, and essential documents between branches and departments. You will ensure the timely and secure transportation of materials while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail. Additionally, you will assist with minor facility-related tasks, including document shredding, inventory management, and ensuring supplies are stocked as needed.
This role requires a high level of reliability, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering to company policies and security guidelines. You will also be expected to maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent service to employees and departments across the credit union.
What you will need to be successful:
- Time Management & Organization: Ability to manage delivery schedules efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring secure and accurate handling of materials.
- Communication Skills: Professional interaction with employees across departments.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and transport packages as needed.
- Valid Drivers License: Required for making deliveries safely and on time.
- Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Prior experience in mail delivery, facilities support, or a similar role is a plus.
