As a Deposit Officer, you will play a key role in developing and expanding treasury management and business deposit relationships. Acting as a strategic liaison between Business Services and the branch network, you will drive growth through innovative deposit solutions and exceptional member service. Your responsibilities will include developing, recommending, and implementing new products, as well as actively participating in risk management and policy development.
You will work with high-level treasury management professionals, utilizing cutting-edge technology and industry best practices to enhance financial services. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with third-party vendors, assist in compliance monitoring, and provide expert guidance on business deposit products. Your ability to cultivate strong member relationships and support credit union initiatives will be essential in driving business success.

What you will need to be successful:
- Leadership & Strategic Thinking: Ability to set objectives, drive business development, and expand treasury management services. Experience partnering with internal teams and commercial businesses to support growth initiatives.
- Sales & Relationship Management: Strong ability to develop and maintain business deposit relationships. Excellent client service and relationship-building skills with a focus on member retention and deposit growth.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Ability to assess financial risks, interpret data, and develop deposit solutions tailored to business needs. Strong attention to detail with the ability to synthesize complex financial information.
- Communication & Training: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial concepts clearly. Experience conducting treasury management training and delivering presentations.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and treasury management software. Familiarity with financial reporting tools and risk monitoring systems.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Five to eight years of experience in business services, treasury management, or a related field. At least two to three years of experience specifically in cash/treasury management services. Strong understanding of business account services, financial regulations, and industry compliance standards (BSA/AML/OFAC/NACHA).
