Position Summary
This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (a maximum of 26 hours per week) Information Security Policy Analyst for the Office of Information Security.
OIS provides information security services, policy and support for the Oregon State University Community.
Position Duties
75%) Assist the OSU Chief Information Security Officer and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer in developing information security policy for Oregon State University. Conduct research of existing information security policies at peer institutions and of federal and state compliance requirements and frameworks, and assist in drafting policy appropriate for OSU.
15%) Assist the CISO and D / CISO in the conduct of stakeholder outreach and coordination of information security policies with the OSU Community.
10%) Participate in job / role-based training and experiential opportunities throughout the year to improve skills and gain experience.

- Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
- Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
- Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
High School student : Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program
Additional Required Qualifications
This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.
