Position Summary
This recruitment will be used to fill two part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Viticulture Student Research Assistant for the Agricultural Sciences and Marine Sciences at Oregon State University (OSU).
- Perform routine to complex technical or specialized tasks in support of viticulture research
- Assist with viticulture research data collection to understand how vineyard cultural practices influence grapevine physiology and berry composition
- Assist in field data collection, conduct laboratory assays, enter and organize research data
- This position will be located in the lab on campus, and at research sites off campus and in commercial vineyards.
Position Duties
Position Duties (30% Field Work) Tasks may include
60% Laboratory / Program Work Will include
10% Responsible for helping with other tasks in the lab including cleaning, archiving samples, and organizing.
