The Financial Planning Associate supports Orgel Wealth Management’s Financial Planning Team and plays a significant role in the ongoing service of clients. The Financial Planning Associate will primarily assist with gathering and organizing financial information necessary for the preparation of comprehensive financial plans and updates. In addition, the Financial Planning Associate will be responsible for inputting financial data into the software that Orgel Wealth Management uses in financial planning, including eMoney and Savvy Social Security, and will create financial planning reports that will be delivered to clients. The Financial Planning Associate will also perform administrative duties for the Financial Planning team, including tracking and monitoring workflows.

Requirements
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect and organize financial data used to provide financial planning advice to clients
- Accurately input and review financial data in eMoney and Savvy Social Security – the primary financial planning software tools utilized by Orgel Wealth Management to prepare comprehensive financial plans and analyses for clients
- Coordinate with the Financial Planning Team to manage workflows, innovate client reports, monitor trends, and ensure that all financial planning materials are provided to clients in a high-quality and timely manner
- Provide excellent service designed to advance the ongoing maintenance of genuine relationships when working with clients to request and collect financial information needed to prepare comprehensive financial plans
- Update, format, and finalize the various reports that are prepared and assembled to create comprehensive financial plans for clients
- Perform research across a variety of substantive areas related to personal finance to respond to client questions or requests from Relationship Managers and Financial Planners
- Prepare reports and projections used to help clients plan for specific goals or situations, such as college savings projections and insurance summaries
- Maintain an understanding of the financial planning tools available at the firm (e.g., eMoney) and assist with the review and monitoring of other available tools
- Maintain an understanding of laws and regulations affecting personal finance
- Perform other duties as required that contribute to the overall effectiveness of the position and firm
The Financial Planning Associate must be able to:

Education and Experience Requirements
- BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university
- Education or experience related to finance, accounting, or data analysis
- Work in an office environment at one of our three locations
- 2 or more years of financial industry experience
- Knowledge of eMoney financial planning tools
- Progress toward the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
