What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist - EM ( Part-time) position at Oriana House, Inc.?
Essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Effectively and courteously answers all telephone calls received at Electronic Monitoring at the reception desk.
- Directs calls to the appropriate party and takes concise messages as needed. Straightens lobby area at the end of each shift.
- Effectively and courteously greets and directs all visitors to the building (clients, employees, etc.) and notifies assigned Caseworker or Monitor when clients arrive.
- Prepares mail for pick up.
- Receives, sorts, and distributes all incoming U.S. mail and interoffice mail in an accurate and timely manner.
- Performs accurate data entry functions into ORION and/or other databases as needed; follows up with corrections of any found errors. Inputs alco-sensor results in an accurate and timely manner.
- Administers alco-sensors to clients entering building for appointments. Completes an incident report if alco-sensor results are positive and advises assigned Caseworker or Monitor of positive results.
- Assists Electronic Monitoring Assistants (Installers) by signing in new intakes, taking payments for Electronic Monitoring clients, taking equipment deposits, and copies receipts for clients’ files. Ensures fees are secured/deposited into safe to prevent loss.
- Gives exit evaluation form to the clients who successfully complete the program. Gives completed exit evaluations to EM technicians at the end of the shift
- Copies necessary verification/pay stubs, etc., for clients when Caseworker is not available and places in Caseworker’s mailbox.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday-4p-9p
QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent required. Computer skills including “WORD” and CMIS required. Must have the ability to effectively work with Agency employees, outside contacts, and a diverse client population.
