We are excited to announce an opportunity at Orica for a Fleet Manager within Orica USA focused on leading business performance excellence by ensuring the integrity and optimization of the standard processes, data and systems are maintained and best practice are shared. The Orica North American fleet comprises vehicles in Class 1-8, along with a selection of Off-Road equipment.

About The Role – 32669 - Fleet Manager – (Centennial, CO, USA)
We are excited to announce an opportunity at Orica for a Fleet Manager within Orica USA focused on leading business performance excellence by ensuring the integrity and optimization of the standard processes, data and systems are maintained and best practice are shared. The Orica North American fleet comprises vehicles in Class 1-8, along with a selection of Off-Road equipment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provides support and leadership in the development and embedding of the regional operating standards (in accordance with the Group standards) to ensure the highest quality of safety and compliance with regulations
- Supports and develops an appropriate governance framework for the region to ensure group standards and local regulations are complied with
- Leads and supports the embedding of a culture of robust operating discipline
- Supports strategy and long-term sustainable plan for achievement of consistent operating standards across the Orica North American region (Canada, USA, Mexico and Dominican Republic)
- Leads the integration and implementation of a strong Fleet Management program which will include:
- Inventory and procurement- Oversee acquisition of new and replacement vehicles, maintain fleet registry.
- Vendor management- Coordinate with suppliers and manage repairs, servicing and other fleet related services.
- Compliance- Ensure all fleet vehicles are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Cost Management- Track and manage fleet related expenses. Implement strategies to reduce cost and improve efficiencies.
- Fleet Performance- Utilization of IVMS date to analyze fleet performance.
- Supports the development of initiatives to continuously improve fleet equipment maintenance strategies that deliver expected customer performance whilst lowering the Total Cost of Ownership and extending our assets' useful life.
- A Batchelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years of directly related experience of fleet/equipment management, ideally within a multi-location fleet setting.
- At least 5 years of direct people management experience.
- Proven ability to lead a team, including building a collaborative approach in the development of the direction and operations of the workstream.
- Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable.
- Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships
- Financial acumen & budgeting experience.
- Headcount – At least 2 direct reports
- Office Based, must be open to reporting to the office at least three days a week

Compensation Range
- $103,125 - $125,000
- Eligible for annual short-term incentive plan
