What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Manager position at Red Bull Distribution Company?
You will oversee the Fleet and Maintenance operations of Red Bull Distribution Company’s distribution and support fleet to ensure cost effectiveness, quality, and safety and assist in developing solutions to meet internal customer expectations. Certified experience in key technical repair concerning diesel, gas, and EV systems in light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles. The Fleet Manager will support the fleet operations for RBDC while successfully executing Fleet KPI’s and delivering all financial and operational commitments. The Fleet Manager will oversee the preventative maintenance and repair programs. You will audit fleet readiness posture, 3rd party repair and purchase orders, provide oversite into telematics, compliance, registration, safety, fuel, and all other fleet-related programs for LD, MD, and HD fleet vehicles. The role will assist and collaborate with the Director, Fleet and other fleet team members, on day to day fleet operations pertaining to all of Red Bull Distribution Company’s fleet maintenance and management programs.

MANAGING THE BUSINESS
Works directly with Fleet Management Companies to administer and manage fleet maintenance and other fleet programs Oversee fleet Maintenance operations to ensure compliance with procedures, Federal, State, and Local fleet related regulations, and budgeted financial targets Perform monthly fleet audits and site visits to ensure compliance with all RBDC, DOT, and Safety programs and mentor local Operations/Warehouse Managers and General Sales Managers (GSM) on Fleet Management best practices. Assists with execution of RBDC’s warranty and policy programs for recovery of maintenance expenses Audits Holman Insights daily to ensure accurate repair information, process and review repair orders for issues or missed warranty claims Implement and monitor company’s preventative maintenance program; schedule equipment maintenance aligned with manufacturer’s specifications and company-specific requirements. Communicate with field operations team to provide support, respond to inquiries, and on-going coaching and direction to ensure all fleet-related programs are followed and implemented. Assists and manages outside maintenance service providers Familiar with VMRS and Repair Order coding Manages fleet inventory accuracy and ensures proper billing. This includes tracking of all equipment in and out of service. Preview quality of work performed by maintenance vendors and invoices for cost associated with that work Review and analyze vendor estimates, invoices/purchase orders for cost accuracy. Negotiate vendor labor rates and parts pricing when necessary Evaluate current vendor performance and identify potential new vendors with assistance and support of local managers Identify and monitor trucks and trailers at repair facilities to reduce downtime and rental expenses Partner with Operations and Warehouse Managers and vendors to expedite scheduled & unscheduled vehicle repairs Monitor and analyze all opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiencies Manages equipment files, records, licenses, inspections, warranties, and service agreements for the organization’s transportation-related equipment and tools as per company and DOT regulations Present current status of fleet maintenance costs and initiatives to Operations team at monthly and quarterly meetings Active development of initiatives and execution of those plans to drive fleet cost efficiencies within assigned area Active and daily communication with managers in assigned area driving execution on all Fleet initiatives

The base salary range for this position is $81,120 to $121,680 cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- 5 years' industry experience in fleet management
- 5 years' experience as a certified diesel technician
- Experience with and effectively use Microsoft Office Suite programs, ability to use and create Power Point presentations and intermediate level Excel worksheets.
- Be able to work effectively in both a team environment and with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with automotive terminology and a thorough understanding of fleet operations and cost dynamics.
- Must be familiar with LD, MD, and HD vehicle operation, repair, and maintenance
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must have a valid US driver's license and remain in valid status.
