Position Summary: Join our growing team! Origami is seeking a full-time in-person Clinic Assistant, Monday-Friday, at our Mason and Lansing locations. Operating under the guidance of the Outpatient Program Manager, the Clinic Assistant becomes a vital cog in the smooth operations of our clinic's rehabilitation and administrative realms. The role is multifaceted, encompassing tasks such as meticulous data gathering for audits and tracking, systematic equipment and inventory oversight, and the crucial task of serving as a backup support for client scheduling. The position prioritizes impeccable customer service, a keen eye for detail, and stellar interpersonal skills. Dive into a role where precision meets purpose and every task carries significance!

Responsibilities:

  • Model appropriate behavior and professional relationships conducive to a positive working and therapeutic environment. 
  • Proactively initiate and follow-through with tasks utilizing appropriate problem-solving techniques to facilitate communication flow and prompt resolutions.
  • Weekly travel to Lansing-based campuses to assist with preventative maintenance checks, equipment cleaning, laundering, ordering, therapy session set-up/clean-up, and organization of Origami and client owned equipment/supply inventories.
  • Provide administrative support such as data collection, tracking, reporting, and verification. 
  • Assist with quality assurance tracking and auditing various clinical, residential, and business systems at determined frequency. 
  • Support the clinical team with onsite telehealth setup.
  • Prepare quarterly clinical chart audits. 
  • Observe all rules of confidentiality as they pertain to clients and employees both internally and in working with outside individuals and/or agencies.
  • Serve as a back-up to the Scheduling Coordinator.  
  • Serve as a back-up support to rehabilitation team needs, including on-site support at Origami’s Lansing-based campuses.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Access to reliable transportation to work at multiple worksite locations in Lansing.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop kneel or crawl, and taste or smell. Accommodated alternatives are acceptable if they accomplish the necessary essential tasks. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
