Key Responsibilities:
Business Development and Sales
- Identify and pursue opportunities for contract manufacturing projects in sectors such as industrial, commercial, and consumer products.
- Generate new leads and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong relationships with customers to understand their manufacturing needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and exceptional service throughout the sales and production process.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify potential for repeat business.
Market Analysis and Strategy
- Research market trends, industry demands, and competitor offerings to position Origin Engineering as a preferred manufacturing partner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine offerings and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Provide detailed sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
Quoting and Proposal Development
- Work with engineering and production teams to develop accurate and competitive quotes for prospective projects.
- Prepare and present professional proposals that align with client requirements and showcase the company’s capabilities.
Collaboration with Operations
- Liaise with the fabrication shop team to ensure project requirements are understood and achievable.
- Monitor project timelines and production schedules to align client expectations with operational capacity.
- Communicate client feedback to the production team to support continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the manufacturing sector.
Skills and Competencies
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of contract manufacturing processes, including metal fabrication, machining, and assembly.
