What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Assistant position at Origin Nutraceuticals?
Duties:
Learn Bamboo HR system. * Learn Gusto payroll system. * Run payroll, review employee hours, work with bookkeeping and staffing agencies. * Become familiar with Origin Nutra organization and job descriptions. Revise job descriptions as needed. * Work with Documents Department regarding various regulatory documents. * Track PTO, holidays and unpaid time off for Employees. * Assist with annual GMP and other training as needed. * Organize company events. * Become familiar with Employee Manual and employment policies. * Handle incidents and Workers Compensation claims. * Answer phone calls and greet visitors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required. * Basic computer skills (Excel/Word), and ability to learn ERP system basics. * Prior HR experience a plus. * Friendly demeanor and phone presence. * Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities. * Critical thinker with good analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to remain calm in stressful situations. * Bilingual required (English/Spanish).
