Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting & Investments - Fortune 500 Financial Services Firm

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Corporate Accounting & Investments team at a Fortune 500 Financial Services Company that's known for excellent work-life balance (~40hrs frequent fully remote weeks), has a strong track record of internal promotions & rotations into other teams, and boasts excellent visibility with executive leadership and countless opportunities to learn the ins and outs of a complex global business.

• Responsibilities will focus on accounting & financial reporting that support the organization and its various entities; working closely with finance experts and cross-functional peers to process unique accounting transactions, optimize workflows, fortify controls, and improve financial reporting; supporting the month-end close-by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and delivering financial statement insights to the management team; and other special projects (e.g., big push for automation and/or process improvements at all levels)

Qualifications

• CPA is highly valued, but not required
• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar
• 2 years of experience - may come from public accounting and/or corporate accounting (experience with financial services, asset management, or banking is a plus)
