Oriol Health Care is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis (24-32 hours / week). This is an On-site position in Holden, MA.
Reports To : Accounts Receivable Director
Educational : Bachelors' Degree or 5 years' equivalent experience
Skills : Ability to work cooperatively with others. Knowledge of MMIS and FISS Systems. Strong computer skills. Ability to prioritize and self-task.
Pay Range : $25-30 / hr
Essential Functions :
- Post bank deposits for all Oriol Health Care skilled nursing facilities
- Daily Census for all Oriol Health Care skilled nursing facilities
- Ancillary review for accuracy and input in billing system
- Status updates on all payer sources as directed in a timely manner
- Attend weekly Medicare meeting
- Attends monthly Triple Check
- Process monthly billing
- Follow up on monthly billing to ensure claims have reached the payor sources
- Month end close process
- Works aging daily to ensure payments are timely.
- Maintain resident account balances in a timely manner
- Other tasks as assigned
