About this Opportunity:
As a Business Development Associate on the Sales & Account Management Team, you will support the Portfolio Consultants in fostering and managing relationships with financial advisors to assist them in acquiring high net worth individual and institutional clients. This position will drive sales for Brinker Capital’s Wealth Advisory group by consulting with financial advisors on creating customized portfolio solutions and promoting the services available to their high-net worth clients and prospects. In this role, you’ll get to:
- Monitor prequalification queue to accept/reject opportunities from the Brinker Sales team
- Schedule and coordinate discovery calls for Portfolio Consultants
- Aggregate information from discovery call(s) and input properly into both Salesforce and proposal request spreadsheet for proposal generation
- Follow-up with advisor and/or advisor assistant to gather additional information for proposal generation
- Determine need for Wealth Advisory partner services and document clearly in Salesforce for the WA Service Desk to reference for aggregation of proper paperwork
- Manage and document in Salesforce expected turnaround based on complexity of case
- Coordinate and communicate with Investment Strategists and keep Salesforce meticulously up to date for proposal prioritization, generation, proposal review, and proposal acceptance
- Ensure complete and proper documentation and notes provided to Investment Strategists for proposal completion
- Coordinate proposal updates with Investment Strategists
- Assign and monitor SLA levels according to advisor/client needs and make suggestions in Salesforce for discussion at the point of transition to Portfolio Managers
- Set up and run weekly meetings with PCs to track the pipeline for each
- Participate in bi-weekly meetings with RDs to track the pipeline for each
- Provide back-up support for WA service desk
We’re looking for talent who:
- Has knowledge of asset allocation, portfolio management, manager research, capital markets, and financial planning
- Possess minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Has Minimum of 5 years of investment industry experience
- Current Series 7 & 66 (or 63 and 65) or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
