Orion Group is hiring for a Finance Systems Manager whose primary responsibility will be to develop and improve the Global Financial Planning tool [SAC ] dashboards under the supervision of the Finance Systems Director.
The Finance Manager Systems will also be responsible for running maintenance tasks for planning, reporting, and providing training to all new users.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter who is innovative and eager to understand current processes, identify areas of opportunity, and manage new ideas and ways of doing things to reality.
The Finance Systems manager will serve as a developer and trainer who helps implement system solutions that advance the financial planning platform SAC / CXO / Longview.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
1) Architect, design, develop and implement SAC Aesthetics Globally [$6B USD Business] :
- Work closely with System team (Longview Team / SAC TEAM)
- Support Symbol / dimension management, metadata design / maintenance, and data validation processes as part of Financial Planning Systems.
- Work with management to further develop forecasting tools (i.e. Longview) to satisfy business requirements.
- Develop technical design specifications and analyze data to create data structures, dimensions, and measures.
- Develop Longview processes & SAC procedures and rules for building enterprise-wide planning applications.
- Data Modeling, design and implementation based on best practices and recognized standards.
- Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, data security, and the software development lifecycle.
- Data Validation in Longview & SAC [SAP,BPC, HFM, BIP]
- Validate AGN data and accuracy in Longview and SAC vs HFM , BIP
- Identify source of variance root cause
- Exchange rate upload, flex automation and validation.
- Propose solutions
- Flash / Month End / LBE / LRP / Budget cycles
- Finance Dashboards :
- Develop CXO / SAC dashboards
- Work close with business to Alling on format and functionality.
- Train AGN users to use CXO / SAC dashboards
- Automate business processes to automate dashboards
- Finance Business Partnership Training :
- Train AGN users to use Longview / CXO / SAC
- Automate business processes.
