What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk position at Orion Engineers + Constructors?
Job Function/Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
Maintain financial records and perform data entry
Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
Assist with monthly closings and financial report preparation
Support budget preparation and expense tracking
Perform other assignments as necessary and directed by management
Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork, flexibility, integrity, and professionalism in a collaborative work culture
Must have valid driver's license and suitable driving record that is able to meet company driver requirements as may be required to obtain a TWIC card
Commitment to high quality
Internal Candidate: Must be prompt, dependable and have a good attendance record
Must be able to pass an approved background check
Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test. Must participate in random drug tests
Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
